you guys are crazy! she is so much better in a smaller arena and this version of the monster ball was way better than her current one! i’ve seen both and this one was def 10x better. to me it had more creativity and she seemed to enjoy it more. when i saw her in indy during the july her current stage is just so over the top and i don’t no it didn’t impress me like this show did. she definitely is the type of artist who works better in smaller arenas.
@thalylover I just saw her in September and there was NO angler fish. Some of the dancers were dressed in black and played little ‘fame monsters’ that kinda attacked her. I was disappointed! I don’t know why it wasn’t there, I’m guessing maybe not enough room on that particular stage? (Hartford CT)
@jpagan09 totally agree, shes more fit to do small venues – the bigs ones flop far as reviews and comparisons. Lolla for example..
@jordan01300 I went to this exact show and I went to the monster ball in milwaukee and will be going in chicago again in february and i agree although i must say both shows had their strengths and weaknesses. while the revamped show definitely feels more like a traditional concert i feel this version of the show allowed her to be more intimate with the fans plus, you could pretty much sit anywhere and still feel super close.

@doppelgangyr this was before the revamping of the show, this part of the show doesn’t exist anymore it now has that giant angler fish on stage when you go see her live!
i think this is really stupid. im glad she “revamped” the monster ball.
coz i went to the show were she had a giant robotic monster on the stage… and its way better than this lawl.

I haven’t been to the Monster Ball yet, but I thought Paparazzi featured the giant angler fish. Is this the new 2010 version they do, or is this the version they perform when there is no room for the angler fish on stage or something?

if that’s true about the kids and the mom, why would you take tickets away from a person who actually wanted to go to the concert and likes lady gaga. why would you blow 100 bucks to see a show you know features an outrageous person who is somewhat inappropriate for children just to leave in the first 20 minutes? Ughh i don’t get people sometimes
I love this, it took me a while appreciate it though. I wanted another VMA-type performance so I was disappointed at first. But I can’t get enough of this now.

yea that really happened. I don’t know if you noticed but on the left hand side of the theater in the front row there was a mother and some kids and they got all mad and left. what do you expect? this is a lady gaga concert not barney on ice! what did they THINK a disco stick was?

i luved the mothers that got pissed off at gaga swearing after she said “if you don’t fucking like my show.. YOU CAN FUCKING LEAVE!!!” and then they left
